Was just kind of confused why them and the rest of the Olympians didn't help with the finals mission
(Sorry deleted the first one because I forgot to check notify me)
Bastet and the majority of the Egyptian gods (aside from Thoth) are pretty much being ignored by the Olympian gods, not wanting anything to do with them now that their deal to get back to Earth was fulfilled. The sole exception being that they also have the option to charge in the Sarcophagus as needed. Essentially, Zeus doesn't trust them in the slightest.
ReplyDeleteThe rest of the Olympians weren't participating because Zeus wanted to leave some of the 'gods' in charge of the Olympus Safe Zone network while they were gone. With them not sure they'd succeed, he wanted some of his people in charge there as opposed to say, the Egyptian gods, seeing the position of authority there open and taking it.

ReplyDeleteI've already got about 80 thousand words into my next book. It's another Litrpg apocalypse style, but I'm trying to have a bit more fun with it this time. Different premise also, the 'system' is actually an accidental creation of humanity empowered by the motivating factor behind the apocalypse.
