I was wondering if you are actually done with the series or if you are just taking a break from it? I just finished the book and was excited for another one as you left it in a way you could easily continue if you wanted with multiple things unresolved. I see you wrote last book in the series on this post but I wasn't sure if that means you're done or if you mean it's the most recent.
ReplyDeleteThat is the last in the Light Online series. It may end up just being the last in that arc with another series coming along in the same world with a different series name, but at this time I have my next few books planned out and none are in that same world.

I'm currently reading the Light Online books and I like them, BUT: There's one thing that I find truly annoying, and that is that you really, really overuse the word "also". It appears on roughly every second page, and sometimes several times on the same page. A small detail, true, but once I noticed it, it became one of those things you can't unsee, and now it deeply annoys me every time I come across it. Which is often... This is just meant as a friendly tip for your next books, apart from that word, I really enjoy the series. Sincerely, Are
ReplyDeleteAnother arc in Light Online would be wonderful, since this series is such a refreshing take on the Genre. To many are either hack and slash, or grind grind grind, without much regard for the good that they can do along the way! Best thing about Eddie is he cares about his people, wether they are NPCs, or Players, and tries to make thing better for everyone!

ReplyDeleteYou can either post them on the blog here, or simply report them to Amazon. They gather up the reports and when there are sufficient, send them to me as a quality notification email with a list of things to fix.

ReplyDeleteI really loved this series! I want to add my voice to the others in support of a new arc. I know you have other books you are working on (can’t wait for the next Natural Laws Apocalypse book), but I truly hope you will revisit these characters.
ReplyDeleteI also like most others really loved this series and wish it would have continued. Infact I finished it back in 2020 and didn't realize until today that you had ended it. Hopefully you can dive back into that world at some point. I am enjoying System Return and am about to start Crow Hill. Thanks for writing!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to add my voice to hoping that you'll carry on with these characters as it kind of feels like there story is unfinished, plus I had some good laughs along they way please continue with them, I'd love to see you write some other stories in the same world along the lines of awaken online as that series has managed to effectively pull off keeping the main story going and telling multiple story arks from different characters points of view.
